Valencia Cuisine
If your mouth starts watering as soon as you smell the aroma of fresh tomatoes, oranges and fine spices, then Valencia is the place for you. Valencian cuisine is everywhere and an indispensable part of everyday life for the people of this city. Here you simply always have an appetite!
Valencia Culinary - away from the main streets and marketplaces
The many tapas bars and paella restaurants in Valencia's famous squares, which invite people to stop for a bite to eat in a stylish, cozy atmosphere, are a must. But there is hardly an alleyway free of small cafés and restaurants where Spaniards have breakfast, lunch and late-night cuisine. We collect tips, try out familiar and new places for you and recommend the ones that suit your group and your food preferences and are of the best quality.
Typical Spanish - Typical Valenciano - with mom or star chef
The cuisine you will find in Valencia is as varied as the title suggests. The range is enormous, corresponding to the abundant supply of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat. The once simple cuisine of Valencian rice farming families is just as present as culinary artists and palate poets who deserve stars. Of course, the air, the sun, the smells and the lightness of life contribute to the enjoyment, but so do the different ambiences, the lovely decorations and the warm-hearted people and guests.
You will find this only with us
- Valencia's arrocerias have much more to offer than just pealla. Rice in many variations, e.g. as arroz meloso or caldoso, for those who like it creamy or with lots of sauce.
- Almuerzo is the morning snack, for example in the Mercat de Colón together with the best horchata in Valencia.
- Fish, freshly caught from the boat. This restaurant serves "only" what the catch of the day yields, without compromise.
- 10 and more courses for the senses. A culinary dream journey from the star segment.
- The view into the kitchen. Watching a paella being prepared is an experience: the fire, the smells, the taste.

Y Arroz
ONLY at lunchtime
You can't go past rice in Valencia. However, we advise you to enjoy it in the Albufera, the rice-growing area and nature reserve in the south of the city. This is the place to meet up with the whole family in the early afternoon from half past one and especially on Sundays.
